It seems thereapos;s a debate of sorts on tonight. Iapos;ll not be indulging as I see little point in it. Iapos;ve already decided who Iapos;m voting for and watching the trick pony show will do little to alter that fact. In a nut shell, if the Democrat gets in heapos;ll tax and spend. If the Republican gets in heapos;ll borrow and spend. And the wheel continues to turn.
Robert Kiyosaki, author of the Rich Dad Poor Dad books, is giving a seminar on conducting business in the current economic conditions at the end of the month in Arizona. I am sorely tempted to attend. Not that I have any burning desire to return to Arizona; I was there once and it left me wanting. How any state can be allowed to become that brown is beyond me. That aside, Mr. Kiyosaki has always struck me as having a good deal of common sense so Iapos;m interested in his take on the current economic climate.
Tomorrow Iapos;m going to a horse sale. It seems the my father and brother have been getting more and more interested in turning Twin Creeks back into the horse farm that it was in days gone by. I find this odd since Iapos;m the only one in the family who knows a horseapos;s withers from its pastern but whatever. If nothing else Iapos;ll get to see some pretty horseys...
